This was after Kastle Systems, a security services company, noted that office attendance in major U.S. cities was still 50.5% below the pre-pandemic level.

Other findings from Redfin’s survey of over 600 potential sellers further illustrate how this trend has been influenced by the actions of major corporations. Despite the fact that the median transaction price in Austin has declined, the housing market still experiences high demand, which dampens the impact of increasing interest rates.
